The UN day peace concert will be held in Helsinki 24.10.2024. Guest speakers and captivating performers. The event is open and free for all. Performers include Chrisu Romberg from Voice of Finland, the Bahá’í singing group that captivated audiences last year, Maailma-kuoro, guitarist and singer Guna Kalna and classical pianist Liisa Smolander.
This year the theme for the concert is unity – living together in diversity. Achieving peaceful coexistence requires continuous effort and commitment to finding common understanding. Living together requires respect, the skill of listening, and the desire to build bridges between different people.
The concert will be held in the Church of the Deaconess Foundation, Helsinki. The entrance to the church is from the side of the train line, from the intersection of Alppikatu and Ensi Linja through the parking area.
The event is organized by the Ecumenical Council of Finland and CORE Forum. Warmly welcome!
